Job Description:

As part of the Banking Operations group you will be part of a Banking Operations Claims team of motivated professionals focused primarily towards one of N26’s key markets in France.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing end-to-end processes specific to the core tasks, including compliance, improvements, internal documentation
  • Support activities linked to defined processes within Banking Operations including regulatory requirements, and risk controls including support incoming legal requests
  • Coordinating with other operational teams and internal stakeholders, in order to align and set-up cross-team processes as well as improve the quality of services delivered to our customers
  • Participating in training preparation and delivery for our external partners
  • Maintaining internal documentation and ensuring they are up to date in order to stay compliant and minimise risk of audit findings
  • Handle insolvency and edge cases, where the Analyst is required to have a deep understanding of the legal implications and compliance the bank is subjected to
  • Support operational teams with the analysis of incidents, and suggest actionable workarounds to effectively manage any current and future risks
  • Provide feedback and opportunities to teams in order to streamline processes and standardise workflows

Requirements:

  • Experience in banking operations, service delivery and project coordination roles
  • Structured way of working and experience in handling complex tasks efficiently
  • Professional banking education/background or a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, a related field or comparable working experience
  • Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture
  • Analytical mindset (SQL experience is a plus) and ability to independently leverage data for prioritisation and decision making
  • Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Confident while communicating with stakeholders and possess the ability to work across teams and shape collaborative decisions
