Bank Teller

• Greet customers warmly and assist with a variety of transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check processing
• provide information about financial products and services, securely handling all client inquiries and transactions
• ensure cash drawers and monetary transactions are balanced accurately at the end of each shift
• identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loan offerings
• resolve routine customer account issues, escalating complex concerns to the appropriate department
• verify signatures, proper identification, and check validity to ensure transaction compliance and fraud prevention
• maintain compliance with all federal, state, and bank-specific regulations and guidelines
• assist with opening and closing branch operations, including balancing vault cash as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• minimum of 1 year of experience as a bank teller or in a customer-facing financial services role
• proficiency in handling cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• familiarity with financial regulatory requirements and basic knowledge of banking principles
• strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• basic proficiency with standard office applications and banking software systems
