As a Bank Support Practitioner in Clydebank, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. Our supported individuals have a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health challenges, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. Working within a trauma-aware approach, you’ll play a vital role in helping people live fulfilled and independent lives.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting with meal preparation and medication
Providing personal care and assisting with moving and handling
Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities
Encouraging hobbies, interests, social opportunities and confidence-building
Supporting with budgeting, daily living skills and personal organisation
Providing emotional support and helping individuals maintain positive relationships
Requirements:
A caring and empathetic nature
Excellent communication skills
Confidence with computers and digital systems
The ability to work well both independently and within a team
Strong organisational skills
It is desirable that you hold a full UK manual driving licence
Nice to have:
No previous care experience is required
