Job Description:

You will join the Team Hire, a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to the strength and growth of the Tellent Recruitee product. We operate in a collaborative environment where Backend and Frontend developers work closely with Design, QA, and DevOps teams to solve complex problems where scale matters. Job Responsibility:

Develop and Scale: contribute to building reliable, scalable solutions for core product Tellent Recruitee
Balanced Development: split between building new capabilities and modernizing existing codebase
Collaborative Impact: influence on how solutions are built, participate in technical discussions, help align system design with business goals
Ownership of Tasks: take responsibility for delivered features, ensure they are well-tested and meet quality standards
Maintenance & Debugging: identify and fix bugs, maintain existing applications
Teamwork: regular pair programming sessions and real-time problem solving

Requirements:

Backend Expertise: track record in Elixir programming or strong motivation to switch to this stack after commercial experience in Ruby on Rails or other backend technologies like Python, Java, or PHP
System Design: proven experience in building scalable applications and solid knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Search & Tooling: general knowledge of ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ
Problem-Solving Mindset: strong debugging skills and pragmatic approach to maintaining existing applications, focusing on quality and error-free solutions
Product Thinking: ability to think deeply about solving the right problem for users and evaluate technical tradeoffs
Linguistic Skills: good command of Polish and at least an intermediate level of English (B2)
