Job Responsibility:

Be responsible for designing, developing, deploying and operating microservices as part of a team
Develop mission critical applications at a very high scale
Work in an agile environment (scrum by the book)
Cooperate with the product owner, the scrum master, the domain experts, the tech lead and other devops teams
Develop in diverse, distributed cloud-based (AWS) technology stacks using Python
Focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery

Requirements:

Several years of experience in backend development (preferably in Python)
Knowledge of relational database technologies (eg.: MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Able to write clean code
Experience working in Linux environments
Prior experience in web development
Being ready to make decisions on your own and being able to work in a team as well
Being motivated by challenging problem solving
Good English language knowledge or being ready to develop your skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures
Experience in designing and developing complex systems at scale
Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc…)
Knowledge of other programming languages (nodejs, java)
Experience in any agile methodology, SCRUM in particular
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (eg.: Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, etc.)
Knowledge of containerization/virtualization (Docker-based system)
Relevant higher education
Experience as a full-stack developer
