Job Responsibility:
Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS
Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies
Create automation tools and processes to improve day to day functions
Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture
Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks
Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function
Requirements:
Mandatory Skills: AWS with Devops skills like Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git Hub, Ansible, etc
Must have hands on experience in implementation / migration projects
Expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services, Compute, Storage, Security, networking, etc.
Proficient skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, Linux, Shell scripting
Proficient skills with git and git workflows
Excellent working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems – experience of supporting and troubleshooting issues and performance
Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC, including CI/CD practices
Solid hands-on in Kubernetes & ELK
Experience in designing, building, implementing, analysing, Migrating and troubleshooting highly available systems
Knowledge of at least one configuration management system such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet or any other such tools
Understanding of services and protocols, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of hosting environments, including web servers, databases, caching, and database services
Knowledge in the application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols
Experienced in solutioning and implementation of Green field projects leveraging IaaS, PaaS for Primary site and DR
Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Requires Associate level Certificates in AWS or professional level certificate
