Job Description:

InfusionPoints is looking for engineers with a diverse set of experiences and skillsets to help maintain our customer’s Federal General Support System on AWS / Azure infrastructure. As an InfusionPoints’ engineer you will provide service insight, response, and service management to maintain high service reliability and availability with low touch through extensible services and platforms, standardized processes, automation of routine tasks, and product feedback.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain a General Support System (GSS) on AWS infrastructure
  • Build and keep a healthy CI/CD pipeline for GSS solutions
  • Administer systems necessary to maintain CI/CD pipeline
  • Strong focus on quality and automation
  • Conduct post-mortems to analyze failures and prevent recurrence
  • Deploy and manage infrastructures for next-gen cloud SaaS platforms
  • Contribute ideas on how we can continuously improve systems and processes
  • Provide service support by participating in regular on-call shifts responding to service issues

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience providing on-call support for high priority incidents
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 2016
  • Experience with Microsoft RDS Farm
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ADFS and AWS integration
  • Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux OS Hardening
  • Experience with multiple Linux distros (CentOS, REHL, Ubuntu, Debian)
  • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and independence
  • Experience working in a software application development environment
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Git, Terraform, Packer
  • Experience working in a highly secure environment
  • Operational experience with networking and an understanding of networking principles
  • US Citizens only
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, and scaling online services
  • Experience reviewing security scans and remediating vulnerabilities
  • Familiarity with security issues in the cloud such as intrusion, penetration, and vulnerability scanning
  • Experience with monitoring solutions: e.g. ELK, Splunk, Nagios, Solarwinds, Wavefront, etc.
  • Experience with Jira Service Desk and PagerDuty or similar tools
  • Experience with Change Management processes and functions
  • Experience with various data management technologies including relational and non-relational databases and message queues
  • Nice to have at least one of following certifications: AWS or Azure certifications
