Job Responsibility

Installation and testing of Avionics Wire Harnesses and Equipment
Manage Avionics installations and projects as assigned
Work closely with sheet metal and mechanical teams to meet deadlines
Create wire lists for wire harness manufacturing from drawings
Use laser wire printer to produce specific coded wire and build wire harnesses to conform to Aircraft configuration
Install AHCA manufactured harnesses and avionics equipment boxes on aircraft in accordance with manuals and drawings
Install externally supplied harnesses and equipment as per specific aircraft configuration and install manuals
Collaborate with the engineering department in making revisions to drawings to ensure they are correct to the installation
Program, code, and configure equipment as required for operation by completing software downloads for basic aircraft systems and radios, ensuring updates to systems are completed and are the correct revision level prior to aircraft testing
Carry out all required ground and flight testing to ensure correct operation of systems
