Job Description:

You will be an integral part of the Avionics, Guidance, Navigation & Control (AGNC) department, specifically the Avionics Hardware team, responsible for the Hardware Design of the Avionics at Isar Aerospace. You will build and own the Integrated Hardware System testrig of our Launch Vehicle Spectrum and support subsystem test campaigns of the other departments. Through your work, you will ensure the robust operation of Spectrum’s electrical system during Ground Operations and Flight.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build up and own the integrated hardware system testrig of the current Launch Vehicle Iteration
  • Lead and conduct Integrated System Test Campaigns, Fault Injection Tests and in-house EMI Testing on your testrig
  • Lead failure reproduction and analysis on your testrig
  • Support Engine Acceptance and Qualification Test Campaigns
  • Support Fluids Acceptance and Qualification Test Campaigns
  • Support Launch Vehicle Structures Acceptance and Qualification Test Campaigns
  • Plan and conduct early integration test campaigns of the Avionics Hardware of the next Launch Vehicle Iteration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Experience of 3+ years in electrical system testing, preferably vehicular systems
  • Extensive Experience in Electrical System Failure Analysis
  • Experience with Troubleshooting of Electrical Units and PCBAs
  • Experience with EMI Testing
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Power Electronics and Li-Ion batteries
  • Experience with PCBA / Unit Design
