Job Responsibility:
Deliver industry-leading technician training programs for ABG technicians, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with operational needs
Identify opportunities to improve technician performance and develop key initiatives around efficiency, client engagement, and training effectiveness
Partner with manufacturers and internal subject matter experts to prepare training materials, ensuring practical, hands-on experience achieves desired learning outcomes
Execute best practices to drive instructor performance and ensure excellence in training delivery
Conduct pilot training sessions and provide feedback to refine materials and improve outcomes
Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, adapting programs and content based on technical/learner feedback
Consult with business leaders to assess training needs and deliver development initiatives that improve performance and business results
Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and standards for training delivery, ensuring consistent communication and institutionalization across teams
Communicate training program performance against established goals and objectives
Build and maintain strong business relationships with key internal partners
Apply a range of instructional methodologies including group instruction, self-study, demonstrations, and computer-based training
Manage technician certification programs (ASE and other relevant industry certifications) and maintain training records
Support technical operations by aligning training with recall processes, technical support procedures, and shop equipment usage standards
Requirements:
4+ years of progressive management experience in training, professional services, or an automotive environment
Hands-on leadership skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
Proven ability to lead large, complex programs/projects to successful completion
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to influence, motivate, and drive engagement across diverse teams
Travel: 25% - 50%
