Volkswagen Group of America's manufacturing plant located in Chattanooga, Tennessee is looking for our next class of Automotive Systems Technology Students! The Automotive Systems Technology student will complete a two-year apprenticeship program which combines electrical training, programing, electronics, computer and controls systems into a design useful for diagnostic and repair of the electric vehicle. This development program is a partnership between Volkswagen Group of America and Chattanooga State Community College.
Job Responsibility:
Complete a two-year apprenticeship program which combines electrical training, programing, electronics, computer and controls systems into a design useful for diagnostic and repair of the electric vehicle
Combine multiple vehicle systems disciplines into a holistic approach for troubleshooting and resolving problems in an automotive repair and diagnostics area
Apply theories and skills in a diagnostics setting and gather work experiences during on-the-job training
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Able to apply for college with a minimum of 19 on the ACT or able to pass a competency test
Valid drivers license
Need to apply and be accepted by both, Volkswagen Group of America and Chattanooga State Community College
