Job Description:

Our technicians enjoy the opportunities to work with innovative and cutting-edge technology on a daily basis. From setting equipment as elaborate as an LED wall to simply ensuring cable is properly run through the venue, our Technicians are the foundation of the events we build and bring to life. They ensure that each event is flawlessly executed, and work with the rest of the team to setup and strike down each event in a timely manner. At Encore, customer satisfaction is our highest priority, our Technicians play an integral part in establishing a positive relationship with each of our clients.

Job Responsibility:

Accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment
Setting equipment as elaborate as an LED wall
Ensuring cable is properly run through the venue
Setup and strike down each event in a timely manner
Establishing a positive relationship with each client
Assists in training technicians on all floor activities and hotel and Encore service expectations
Serves as a mentor for new hires
Models and reinforces a positive working environment centered around company values
Performs advanced work with Project Managers
Supervises and directs other technicians during an event

Requirements:

Basic to Intermediate experience in any or all of the following five disciplines: Audio, Video, Computers, Lighting and Rigging
6 months of audio visual experience preferred
Experience in retail, hospitality, and or related industries preferred
Intermediate experience in all of the following five disciplines: Audio, Video, Computers, Lighting and Rigging
2 years of audio visual experience required
Advanced experience in all of the following five disciplines: Audio, Video, Computers, Lighting, and Rigging
4+ years of audiovisual experience required
3+ years of audiovisual experience required
Physical requirements: Peripheral Vision
Carrying 51-100 lbs.
Pushing/Pulling Over 100 lbs.
Color Vision
Depth Perception
Lifting 16-50 lbs.
Carrying 16-50 lbs.
Pushing/Pulling 16-50 lbs. & 51-100 lbs.
