Job Description:

The Attendant-Laundry is responsible for operating laundry equipment, inspecting and folding articles, and adhering to company policies for a safe and productive environment. This position is part of The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club Autograph Collection, under Marriott International.

Job Responsibility:

Operate laundry equipment
Fold and store clean linens
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
Follow company safety standards
Report issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
Inspect cleanliness of articles
Fold cleaned articles by hand or using folding machine
Maintain accurate records of items laundered
Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures
Follow company policies and standards
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for long periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
