Job Description:

The Attendant-Honor Bar role at The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta involves managing the in-room honor bar, maintaining its cleanliness and inventory, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The position requires physical activity, attention to detail, and strong team collaboration skills.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate positive guest experiences with the in-room honor bar
inventory honor bar, in-room accessories and promotional materials and replace if required
maintain the cleanliness and appearance of each honor bar
utilize software and handheld devices to record sales and take inventory
maintain awareness of product availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels
prepare restocking cart and push it to appropriate floors
respond to requests from guests
communicate issues regarding honor bar operations with hotel management
follow company safety and security policies
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
complete safety training and certifications
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
ensure adherence to quality standards
perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
ability to move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces and up and down stairs or service ramps
ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
ability to read and visually verify information in various formats such as small print
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
ability to support team goals.
