Job Description:

The At Your Service Runner position at the New York Marriott Marquis involves delivering requested items, providing guest assistance, ensuring service needs are met, and maintaining professional standards in a luxury hospitality environment. Job Responsibility:

Test communications equipment to ensure functionality
Provide requested items like rollaway beds, refrigerators, extra towels, and bathrobes to guest rooms
Deliver items such as toiletries, messages, mail, packages, flowers, and other amenities to guest rooms
Anticipate and address guests’ needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards
Protect company assets and ensure compliance with policies
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
