Job Description:

Lamb Weston is seeking a rising star to join its world class Global Trade Compliance team. Reporting to the Director of Global Trade and Regulatory Affairs, the Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support trade compliance efforts in multiple jurisdictions. This includes coordination with internal and external customers to facilitate the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international borders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and improve compliance workflows
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of trade activities
  • Serve as a liaison with international partners and regulatory agencies
  • Generate compliance reports and provide actionable insights
  • Detect compliance risks and implement corrective measures
  • Manage customs duties and related financial transactions
  • Assist in program development and execution
  • Conduct screenings to ensure adherence to global regulations
  • Track changes in trade laws and regulations
  • Assign accurate HS codes and classifications
  • Ensure proper valuation of imported/exported goods
  • Provide guidance on required trade documents
  • Calculate total landed costs for shipments
  • Oversee bond requirements and renewals
  • Support licensing applications and compliance
  • Assist in developing and delivering compliance training

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in trade compliance, supply chain, or international business
  • Bachelor’s Degree: International Business, Global Supply Chain, or Business
  • Excellent Communication and Networking Skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI
  • Attention to Details and Organization
  • Highest level of integrity
