The Associate Partner, Technology Consulting (xTech) will play a pivotal role in leading and scaling the UK xTech practice — a strategic growth pillar of BIP focused on innovation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.This role combines visionary leadership, commercial growth responsibility, and deep consulting expertise to set direction, drive client impact, and cultivate a high-performing technology consulting organisation across the UK.
Job Responsibility:
Shape and execute the UK xTech strategic agenda, aligned to global priorities and UK market dynamics
Set a bold vision for innovation-led technology consulting that drives competitive differentiation and sustainable growth
Lead, inspire and scale a multi-disciplinary team of consultants, architects, data scientists, and technologists
Own the full commercial lifecycle: pipeline generation, proposals, pricing, deal execution, and contract negotiations
Establish trusted executive-level relationships with new and existing clients across sectors
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term client engagement models
Ensure excellence and consistency of delivery across all engagements within the UK practice
Define standards, frameworks and methodologies for xTech offerings that reinforce quality, repeatability and value realisation
Oversee delivery risk, performance metrics and continuous improvement practices
Represent xTech externally through speaking engagements, thought leadership, industry events and client forums
Advise clients on next-generation technologies, digital strategy, and enterprise transformation journeys
Champion innovation and contextualise emerging tech trends into practical business outcomes
Grow a strong culture of innovation, inclusion, collaboration and professional development
Mentor and coach senior leaders and emerging talent within the UK practice
Support recruitment, retention, rewards and performance calibration aligned to strategic goals
Requirements:
Proven senior leadership experience in technology consulting (Director / Partner level) with overall responsibility for a practice, business unit, or P&L
Deep expertise in digital transformation, data strategy & governance, AI/ML applications, cloud transformation, and technology-enabled business value realisation
Track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary consulting teams and high-impact client engagements
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in new business development and client relationship management
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technology trends into valuable business solutions
Nice to have:
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
Prior experience within global consulting networks or professional services environments
Experience designing and championing innovation programs at enterprise scale
