Working with an industry leading consultancy specialising in several industries including consultancy, advisory and Corporate finance. This role will fall under their major connections team looking after solar, wind, BESS and data centre projects. This role will therefore sit on the infrastructure side of the business, looking after the connection of major projects involved in this area. This division has 2 major areas of focus, how to access the power and how to establish the distribution of this power.

Job Responsibility:

  • Blend of technical work required for grid connections
  • work closely with clients to establish grid connections
  • act as the middle liaison between operating bodies such as NESO, and DNOS and clients
  • establish relationships on behalf of the clients
  • offer advice and support throughout connection agreements for various assets
  • convey highly technical terms and concepts to non-engineering members of the team
  • capture stakeholder management
  • potential to grow a team

Requirements:

  • Senior candidates across the UK
  • ideally a background in advisory
  • experience in consultancy space
  • experience with grid connections
  • ability to convey technical terms to non-engineering members
  • strong stakeholder management skills
  • strong communication skills
  • previous experience with leadership
