Job Description:

Our client is a global RE firm in the West Palm Beach area and they are seeking a 3-5+ year FP&A professional to join their team! This person must have strong financial modeling skills and have the ability to work onsite 4X a week in office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the FP&A team in developing forward-looking financial analyses used for strategic decision-making
  • Manage detailed cash flow models to track actual and forecasted development costs, determine funding sources, and monitor cash availability
  • Submit consolidated P&L and cash flow projections
  • communicate budget vs. actual variances and updates to forecast assumptions
  • Assist in building annual budgets and forecasts, developing templates, assumptions, KPI frameworks, and performance reports
  • Prepare and present monthly capital calls to internal leadership and external partners
  • Develop portfolio-level financial models, reports, dashboards, and metrics
  • Oversee the overhead budget model, including quarterly reforecasting, monthly actuals tracking, reporting packages, and variance analysis
  • Provide ongoing variance analysis and support cash management activities, including reconciliations and scenario modeling
  • Review underwriting models, waterfalls, and project forecasts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • advanced degree, MBA, or CFA is a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience transforming data into clear financial insights
  • Familiarity with systems such as JD Edwards, Hyperion, and database tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of capital markets and real estate finance preferred
