Job Description:

A forward-thinking, bespoke fire engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to head up their Bristol team and play a key role in leading projects, managing clients, and driving the continued success of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the delivery of complex fire engineering projects across diverse sectors
  • Oversee and mentor a team of fire engineers
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Take responsibility for project and team performance
  • Contribute to business development
  • Work closely with Directors on strategic planning and resource management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Significant experience within a fire consultancy environment
  • Chartered Engineer status (or the equivalent), ideally with IFE or similar professional recognition
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience mentoring and guiding teams
  • Excellent client-facing and business development skills
