We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our Auto Fraud team on a contract basis in Glendale, California. In this role, you will contribute to litigation efforts, including preparing for trials, negotiating settlements, and supporting senior attorneys in case management. Job Responsibility:
Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation processes with clients and opposing counsel
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare documentation for litigation proceedings
Support senior attorneys by managing case files and ensuring timely progression of cases
Draft motions and other legal documents to strengthen litigation strategies
Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide updates on case status
Collaborate with opposing counsel to facilitate productive discussions and resolutions
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all legal documentation and processes
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active law license
2–5 years of experience in litigation or plaintiff-side legal work
Proficiency in conducting depositions and drafting motions
Strong analytical and research skills to support case development
Ability to work independently while receiving guidance from senior attorneys
Solid experience in civil litigation and negotiating settlements
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in legal practice
