The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in leading store teams to set the tone for the Calvin Klein brand, deliver a first-class customer experience, and drive business performance. They lead by example, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and inspire their teams through passion for the brand.
Job Responsibility:
Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience
Ensure store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained
Identify opportunities to grow business and improve performance
Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards
Work with visual merchandising team for clear communication
Partner with store management to achieve company standards
Focus staff on building quality customer relationships
Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product, pricing, service, and inventory
Communicate sales drivers and issues to Store Manager
Analyze store reports and create action plans
Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
Work to build bench strength for key positions
Participate in management and staff meetings
Communicate sales goals and performance expectations
Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results
Requirements:
Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
Previous people management experience
Effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging
Collaborative
Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
Adaptable and works with pace
Energetic and inspires trust with a clear presence on the shop floor
Approach issues with a 'can do' approach
Ability to make informed decisions to find in-store solutions
