Job Description:

EdEx are looking for someone who can join a community-focused school at an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school located in the heart of Barking & Dagenham. The school has been purpose-built for their students, and they have created a happy, inclusive, and exciting place to learn for their students. This school believes that ‘All children can achieve success’ and needs an eager graduate who will help set high expectations for all pupils. You will help to develop confident and happy pupils with various SEN/additional needs.

Job Responsibility:

Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate)
Working within KS1 and KS2 supporting them in their learning and day to day activities
Will involve supporting children with SEN/Additional needs and tailoring your approach based on each child’s needs
Supporting the teacher throughout the day
Providing academic and emotional support for children making sure they are comfortable and feel supported

Requirements:

Childcare related experience as you will be working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities)
To be able to be patient, resilient and calm in difficult situations
A genuine passion for teaching or career within children
Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1
