Job Description:

An opportunity to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school located in Tower Hamlets in the position of Assistant Psychologist for a full academic year starting September 2025, supporting students with SEN and additional needs within KS1 and KS2.

Job Responsibility:

Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate)
Working within KS1 and KS2 supporting them in their learning and day-to-day activities
Supporting children with SEN/Additional needs and tailoring your approach based on each child’s needs
Supporting the teacher throughout the day
Providing academic and emotional support for children making sure they are comfortable and feel supported

Requirements:

Childcare related experience as you will be working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities)
To be able to be patient, resilient and calm in difficult situations
A genuine passion for teaching or career within children
Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1
