We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will manage administrative tasks, coordinate property maintenance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff to maintain smooth operations.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct detailed administrative tasks to support the overall management of properties
Review resident and property files for accuracy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and annual recertifications
Lead the annual recertification process, including resident interviews and collecting necessary documentation
Ensure timely and accurate recertifications in line with federal housing program requirements
Provide guidance and leadership to the property management team, fostering effective collaboration
Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to address property issues efficiently
Perform regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure upkeep
Build positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns and facilitating community engagement
Monitor property operations to ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field
Proficiency in Yardi software and other property management tools
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial property management practices
Experience in leasing and tenant relations
Familiarity with federal housing program guidelines and compliance standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
