Job Description:

Assist with managing AV operations in a luxury hospitality setting, ensuring equipment setup, troubleshooting, and guest satisfaction. Instruct guests on AV usage and assist in hiring, training, and motivating employees while adhering to company policies and standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Verify AV equipment inventory before event
  • Set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and secure equipment
  • Repair or clean equipment as necessary
  • Check delivered equipment and room setup against Banquet Event Order
  • Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets
  • Operate and maintain audio systems
  • Instruct guests in proper usage of AV equipment
  • Up-sell AV services
  • Monitor equipment operation
  • Assist management in hiring, training, and coaching employees
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure quality expectations and standards are met
  • Develop and implement ideas for efficiency, productivity, and cost savings
  • Inspect tools and equipment
  • Move, lift, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
