Job Description:

The Assistant F&B Manager will supervise daily restaurant operations, assist with menu planning, maintain sanitation standards, and support servers and hosts during peak meal periods. The role strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. Responsibilities include training, development, and compliance with F&B policies and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Supervises and manages employees
maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
reviews staffing levels
leads, influences, and encourages team members
ensures training, development, and compliance with F&B policies and regulations
ensures exceptional customer service
manages service delivery
supervises daily shift operations in absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager
oversees the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and invoice payment

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
