Job Description:

Assists the Director of Human Resources in executing talent strategies; handles recruitment, total compensation, employee relations, and training; ensures compliance with regulations and supports business success; manages staff development activities; fosters an inclusive work environment

Job Responsibility:

Ensures open positions are advertised in appropriate venues to attract a diverse candidate pool
works with recruitment sources and networks with local organizations to source candidates
facilitates interdepartmental promotions and transfers
oversees the recruitment process for hourly employees
ensures compliance with policies on issues such as harassment and discrimination
manages benefits education and administration
ensures hourly performance appraisal processes are in place
coaches managers on progressive discipline processes
analyzes accident trends and reports to management
monitors work environment for signs of union organization

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
