Assistant Collections Officer position in Retail Banking and Wealth Credit Control Services, responsible for debt collection activities and supporting administrative tasks
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for daily debt collection activities (including dunning calls, force liquidation of pledged collaterals, initiation and monitoring of legal action for procession of property, handling of property sale) of various secured products
Support administrative tasks such as account maintenance, account transactions, etc.
Handling procurement process to issue purchase order to vendors and checking of bill payment of collection cost
Performing UAT for system enhancement
Handling customer complaint and branch enquiries
Requirements:
Completed HKCEE / HKDSE with at least five subjects at Grade E / Level 2 / 'Attained' or above including Chinese, English and Mathematics
With banking experience, preferably with exposure to debt collection operations
Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
Good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
Good knowledge of application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service
Nice to have:
Banking experience with exposure to debt collection operations
