Job Responsibility:
Provide advisory and support services to the Assistant Director of Engineering to meet departmental strategic goals
Assist the Director of Engineering in preparing Strategic Business and Operating Plans
Prepare monthly forecasts and reports on departmental performance
Manage assigned capital projects from design and pricing through to construction and commissioning
Analyze and maintain records related to utility costs across the hotel
Supervise the Maintenance Request System and oversee the Preventive Maintenance Program
Conduct regular inspections of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with government regulations
Perform general room and preventative maintenance inspections, scheduling necessary work
Report current issues and events during shifts to the Assistant and Director of Engineering
Implement training programs and conduct performance reviews to support staff development and career advancement
Requirements:
5 years or above work experience in hotel business operations, including mechanical, electrical, or architectural maintenance for both small and large high-rise buildings
Qualifications in engineering or relevant discipline
Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) and Construction Industry Safety Card
