Previous experience in a similar Sub Assembly role within Motorsport
Good knowledge of gearbox, transmission and motorsport sub assemblies
Ideally with cross country or previous Dakar experience
Full UK driving licence
Team player and a good communicator with teammates, engineers and management
Good attention to detail
Flexible approach
Preparedness to work overtime as dictated by the demands of the business

Job Responsibility

Maintain and oversee all sub-assemblies including gearbox and differential
Ensure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year
Support on all events as needed, providing sub assembly and car build support for Dakar and Cross-Country events
Ensure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them
Ensure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary
Coordinate the department’s day to day workload
Supervise the Sub Assembly team on event and at the factory
Worldwide travel is an essential part of this role and can be up to 3 weeks per event

Job Responsibility

Inventories and inspects all IKEA products received. Records and reports any damaged or defective items, missing items, and/or surplus items
Assists installation technician with the physical installation of IKEA products
Ensures that job site is maintained in an organized, safe, and orderly fashion
Understands plans and determines if client needs additional pieces to complete the job
