Job Description:

We're seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to become an integral part of our team at Cragmill Quarry. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role is key to our operations, focusing on batching asphalt, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Batch asphalt and conduct general maintenance of the asphalt plant
  • Operate a loading shovel and weighbridge, adhering to safety and operational procedures
  • Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the site, promoting our safety culture
  • Operate systems according to established procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an asphalt plant is beneficial

  • Monitor, control, and adjust plant settings to ensure consistent production and compliance with mix specifications
