The ASM/Sr. ASM will be responsible for driving sales and business growth for BD Biosciences products in the assigned territory. This includes capital equipment, consumables, and tender business across clinical diagnostics, research institutions, and biopharma customers. The role demands strong technical knowledge, customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles
Job Responsibility:
Achieve revenue and growth targets for BD Biosciences portfolio (flow cytometers, reagents, Software’s and accessories)
Develop and execute territory business plans to maximize market penetration
Identify new opportunities in clinical, research, and biopharma segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, researchers, and procurement teams
Understand customer workflows and provide consultative solutions
Drive capital equipment sales through proactive funnel development
Manage tender processes
Track competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Maintain accurate data in CRM tools (SFDC) and ensure timely reporting
Provide monthly funnel updates and forecast accuracy
Work closely with application specialists, service teams, and marketing for customer-centric solutions
Coordinate with distributors for order execution and inventory management and track the progress on monthly basis
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of flow cytometry, immunology, and life sciences applications
Proven experience in capital equipment sales and tender business and consumable sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in CRM tools. SFDC, PowerBi etc
Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or related field
6–8 years in sales of scientific instruments, preferably in flow cytometry or related technologies
