We are looking for an Archivist Assistant for a top fashion company in the Bay area!

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinates archival projects not limited to asset intake, movement, and processing
  • Leads tours and supports activations, installations, and other engagement initiatives at corporate hub(s)
  • Responds to research requests
  • Rehouses and scans physical archival assets and uploads digital files per team guidelines
  • Supports maintenance of onsite and offsite storage spaces
  • General project management and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Detail oriented person, with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Demonstrated comfort in public speaking and friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database and digital imaging software
  • Good communication, customer service and writing skills are required, as is the ability to be a self-starter that works independently or within a team
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • master’s degree or coursework in library science, archival/museum studies, or a related field a plus
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in archival assistance, preferably in a corporate environment
