Job Description:

Full-time Aquatics Lead to join team working across Brio Ellesmere Port and Brio Neston, or alternatively as two part-time roles across the sites. Role is solely focused on aquatics side of business, taking control of day-to-day operation of growing aquatics scheme including Swim England swimming lessons. Working in community hubs for fitness and wellbeing, delivering quality Swim England programmes, building confidence in water for people of all ages.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist Aquatics Officer in day-to-day operation and delivery of Learn 2 Swim Scheme and School Swimming Programme
  • Deliver 7 hours of Swimming Teaching per week (full-time) or 3.5 hours (part-time)
  • Assist in monitoring classes and waiting lists to increase numbers or change stages to meet demand
  • Assist in effectively resourcing school and Learn 2 swim programme
  • Assist with swimming administration and ensure Swim England initiatives and guidelines are adhered to
  • Assist in ensuring correct staffing levels are in place for swimming lesson delivery
  • Input information onto in-house systems for reports
  • Update social media accounts to reflect changes to Learn 2 Swim Scheme
  • Attend outreach events to promote aquatics offer
  • Deliver outreach work to local community groups
  • Communicate with customers via email or letter

Requirements:

  • Swim England Level 2 qualification
  • Keen interest in swimming and its importance as a life skill
  • Ability to communicate with both children and adults in a constructive and positive manner
  • Ability to assist in day-to-day management of Swim Teachers
  • Ability to plan, program, and review swimming sessions
  • Ability to assist with coordination and administration of school swimming programme
  • Ability to adhere to company safeguarding practices and processes
