The Apps Support Intmd Analyst role involves providing technical and business support for Citi applications, fielding issues from stakeholders, and ensuring software quality and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include disaster recovery testing, conducting validations of releases, participating in application releases, analyzing and addressing applications risks, and contributing to support project initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
provide technical and business support for users of Citi applications
field issues and queries from stakeholders
provide short-term resolutions and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation
develop and maintain technical support documentation
analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues
resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions
prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements
perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates
participate in disaster recovery testing
conduct validation of releases to troubleshoot issues
ensure software meets quality standards for minimal downtime
participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production
active involvement in support project items covering stability, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives
Requirements:
2-5 years experience
basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and other technical areas
previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices
basic business knowledge/understanding of financial markets and products
knowledge/experience with problem management tools
understanding of how own sub-function integrates within the function and commercial awareness
developed communication and diplomacy skills
good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
good knowledge of the business and its technology strategy
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
knowledge of issue tracking and reporting using tools
ability to plan and organize workload
ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
Nice to have:
skillset to support and implement CI/CD for multiple applications
build CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins with branching strategy for code repositories
develop or enhance automation scripts or workflows
knowledge of migration components or tech stacks like Tomcat Java, Abinitio, WASND, Oracle/Sybase/Mongo Database, Autosys, Shell scripts, Hive, Spark & Filecopy components, MSTR
