Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is responsible for providing Application Database support, architecting resilient database solutions, and performance tuning efforts. The role involves managing database enhancements, ensuring high availability services, and partnering with management teams to deploy new products and improve processes.

Job Responsibility:

Make changes to the existing Data Model (Logical & Physical)
Implement changes and build deployment packages using CI/CD pipelines such as LightSpeed
Promote changes to higher environments following SDLC using Release on Demand
Review AWR, ADDM, ASH and other performance reports
Provide performance enhancement solutions
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure integration of functions and define system enhancements
Provide expertise and ensure application design adheres to architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level app DBAs and developers
Appropriately assess risk in business decisions and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements:

12+ years of relevant experience in Application DBA
Extensive experience in Application DBA, performance tuning and GoldenGate implementation
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Oracle database architecture/Data Guard
Performance tuning and troubleshooting
Oracle Advance compression
Oracle partitioning & purging
Database Encryption
Database design skill including normalization theory, STAR Schema design and Data Modeling tool
Knowledge of data flow diagrams, data dictionary techniques, case tools, Entity relation Modeling, design Technique
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

GoldenGate knowledge
Experience with MSSQL, mongoDB and postgres.
