Job Description:

At Oakley Dental, we’ve been caring for patients across Prestwich, Whitefield, Bury and the surrounding areas since 1995. We are a private, four-surgery practice with a strong reputation for high-quality cosmetic dentistry and for helping even the most nervous patients feel at ease. We’re looking for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team. If you’re keen to start a career in dentistry, enjoy working with people, and want to learn in a practice where you’ll feel genuinely supported, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting dentists and hygienists chairside during a range of treatments
  • Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are clean, organised, and well stocked
  • Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining instruments in line with infection control standards
  • Occasionally helping on reception with appointments and patient enquiries
  • Providing reassurance and excellent care, particularly for nervous patients
  • Working as part of a supportive team while studying towards your Dental Nursing qualification
