Job Description:

This internship will explore the application of large language models to generate high-quality clinical documentation. The focus will be on fine-tuning large language models while maintaining general steerability in the clinical domain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop prompts and fine-tune large language models for accurate clinical language generation
  • Apply techniques to distill knowledge from highly performant large language models to relatively smaller models
  • Design and develop scalable and robust tools for data processing, experimentation, and analysis of results. Contribute wellengineered components to the team’s software stack
  • Drive systematic improvements in system accuracy through carefully designed experimentation and analysis
  • Produce clear documentation of methods, results, and insights, and actively share findings through presentations and collaborative discussions

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field
  • At least 1 year of experience with natural language processing or machine learning
  • Must be legally authorised to work in Germany
  • Must speak fluent English
