Job Description:

The Apps Support Senior Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.

Job Responsibility:

Manages one or more apps support teams
Provides technical oversight across systems and applications
Provide holistic view of production environment for technology and business management
Provide guidance on feedback reviews with development managers
Perform controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation
Consult with primary clients to understand strategic objectives
Contribute to formulation of strategies for apps support
Champion stability initiatives for application high availability
Handle incidents, problems and change at global enterprise level
Responsible for delivery of end results and budget management
Manage customer satisfaction requirements of operational procedures
Focus on people development and performance evaluation
Assess risk when making business decisions

Requirements:

6-10 years experience in an Apps Support role
Experience with people management
Highly assertive communications skills
Ability to engage a large audience and lead discussions
Experience with application support
Ability to effectively share information with support team members and technology teams
Ability to plan and organize workload
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
Bachelor's/University degree
Master's degree preferred
