Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst

• Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs
• Lead applications systems analysis and development activities
• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development
• Perform all phases of development activities including business analysis, architecture/application design, coding, testing, source code management and implementation
• Provide user and production support on applications to business users
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
• Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming
• Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial industry
• Strong understanding of financial industry - Markets business in Trade execution/Trade allocation/post-trade processes, particularly in clearing and settlement
• Strong and well-rounded communications skills in English
• Japanese skill is a plus
• Extensive experience and knowledge on system analysis, system architecture and programming of software applications
• Good understanding of SDLC - Waterfall, Iteration and Agile
• 6+ years of rich working experience on Java & Web development
• Experience on observability implementation of distributed system
• Experience on trouble shooting and application/Database performance tuning
• Rich experience on SQL & Non-SQL DB, distributed cache design and development
• Rich experience on Linux, MS-SQL, Shell, Perl, EMS, MQ, ECS Container architecture
• Experience in implementing successful application development projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Affable and a team player
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
