Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Jersey City, New Jersey location. This role involves managing system and applications developments, designing technical solutions, aligning business objectives with project initiatives, and ensuring systems compliance with regulatory standards. The position also includes managing Agile iteration delivery models, analyzing risks, and implementing automated systems monitoring frameworks.

Job Responsibility:

Manage system and applications developments to design and integrate new and revised implementations
analyze and propose technical solutions
use subject matter expertise to lead the team in solutions design and integration
develop comprehensive knowledge of business objectives and operational processes
manage multiple applications development teams using Agile iteration delivery model
manage and implement the Systems Book of Work (BOW)
track project progression and escalated events with Functional Leads and PMO
improve BOW planning process
provide user story mapping and product backlog prioritization using Jira tools
measure project progress, quality, and benefits
monitor applications systems to identify risks and issues
conduct root cause analysis and generate solutions
design and implement automated systems monitoring framework
ensure rigor in system release planning
ensure systems provide required regulatory reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
6 years of progressive experience in global financial services or insurance industry
expertise in system release planning, system dependencies, systems integration, system compliance policies, and critical path identification
reviewing and analyzing technical solutions for projects
providing technical design and integration of application development across systems
translating strategies into project initiatives
DevOps experience
experience with Java, J2EE
JavaScript
IBM Websphere Integration Developer
IBM Websphere Message Queue
IBM Websphere Message Broker
Jenkins, Agile Central
1 year of experience in Duck Creek, Github, Artifactory, SonarQube
