Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, contributing to application systems analysis and programming activities. This role involves problem solving, limited supervision, and acting as an SME for stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Identify and define necessary system enhancements using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues
Conduct testing and debugging
Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Identify problems, analyze information, and recommend and implement solutions
Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment
Appropriately assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Experience with Microservices, Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Reactive Programming/Spring WebFlux, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes
Ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment
