Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Group Manager for its Jersey City, NJ location. Duties include analyzing and evaluating business requirements, developing system enhancements, ensuring data quality, coordinating UAT testing, and overseeing a team of developers and analysts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze and evaluate business requirements for Banking and Regulatory applications
design, develop, and implement necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
coordinate with business, production support, technology and development teams, and end users to gather and analyze design requirements
participate in database design and optimize data model and database programs associated with application performance
ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint
implement and develop algorithms and data structures using programming languages and technical frameworks
define data quality rules and establish data quality governance framework to monitor feed data quality
identify and implement required controls to ensure that issues with regulatory reporting are identified and fixed in a timely manner
coordinate UAT testing and track issues through JIRA and ServiceNow to ensure timely issue resolution
develop application technology roadmaps and analyze to define technical issues and develop innovative solutions
oversee mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
conduct working group and steering committee meetings to ensure relevant stakeholders are updated on project status
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
six years of experience in applications development activities
experience designing and developing large-scale reporting applications utilizing QlikView, Oracle, and Talend
experience performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems/projects including automation of regulatory reports, management reports, and consent order programs
experience documenting business requirements and functional specification documents utilizing Use Case, ERD diagrams, decision tables, and flow charts
experience identifying datasets required for reporting and coordinating with upstream systems to onboard required data feeds using ETL tools Talend
experience building a Data Quality framework consisting of a common set of model components and patterns that can be extended to implement complex process controls and data quality measurements utilizing QlikView, Oracle, and SQL queries
experience performing data analysis to design and implement algorithms and data structures using business intelligence tools, applications, and SQL queries
experience coordinating UAT testing and tracking issues through JIRA and ServiceNow to ensure timely issue resolution
