Job Description:

As an Application Engineer on the Finance Technology team, you configure solutions utilizing third-party HR and Finance Technology SaaS applications such as Workday HCM and Oracle Fusion. You are comfortable working with global teams in a dynamic environment and motivated to apply your existing technical skills and solutions. You are enthusiastic about learning new tools and skills while making positive contributions to the team. You will use your expertise to develop innovative solutions, address critical system issues by identifying root causes, and respond quickly when uncertainty or problems arise. You will have the opportunity to work with other application development engineers to develop technical solutions and delivering projects which drives the business. You will also collaborate with other teams and internal customers to set expectations, gather input, and communicate results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze requirements, design, configure, test, and independently deploy solutions utilizing Workday HCM, Payroll, and other Workday modules that affect payroll
  • Partner with peer application developers and engineers to build end-to-end solutions to large, complex problems
  • Provide level 3 incident support to resolve system issues, fix defects
  • Identify Opportunities by researching new Workday functionality to bring value to our customers or solve their problems
  • Learn and support with technologies in other applications utilized by the team beyond your primary area of expertise

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience configuring HR Systems with 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM for a Workday implementation partner or in a corporate HRIS/IT role
  • Experience in multiple Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Third-party payroll, and Report
  • Good understanding of Workday capabilities from Comp, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence, and how they work together, including integrations
  • Ability to drive projects independently from initiation to completion
  • Strong collaboration skills to build good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology or relevant work experience

  • Experience working on projects building custom applications
  • Experience working in Agile/ Scrum framework and JIRA
