We are currently looking for an energetic, hard-working APF MH to work full-time permanent on our Day shift (Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00) at our Alliston facility.
Job Responsibility:
Repair, setup & adjust and be able to maintain equipment to operate per spec
Responsible for trouble shooting and minor repairs of APF, Rovema and Truck loader
Set up and tear down / cleaning of Filling Equipment (piping, nozzles, counters, scale, etc)
Perform cleaning and sanitization
Move trucks and material as needed
Perform the line clearance process as required
When machines go down, assist the operators
Receiving and verifying components at Fill
Handling and storage of material
Ensuring the line has the material, equipment and staffing needed to run the daily schedule
Assisting on the line as needed to help the process run smoothly and effectively
Ensuring material and parts flow smoothly in the process
Substitute for the Supervisor in their absence if required
Perform Filling duties as assigned
Performing all hourly weigh checks and documenting in infinity
Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
Requirements:
Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)
Math
English
Experience doing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in noisy and warm, wet conditions
also heavy lifting involved
Must pass ergonomic assessment to ensure ability to perform bonafide essential job duties
Demonstrated good attendance in present position

Flexibility to work overtime as required
Experience in Trouble shooting mechanical problems
Demonstrated problem solving skills

Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities
Must be able to pass the ERGO testing due to the physical nature of the job
