Aote Supervisor

• Oversees the daily operations of the AOTE Heritage House and responsible for supervision of coordinators, their personal development and evaluations
• responsible for the overall supervision of staff
• oversees all group business, including drafting proposals, maintaining positive relationships with Meetings & Special Events Managers and outside meeting planners
• coordinates staff for group events and implements group programs
• responsible for the ongoing development, expansion and maintenance of the department
• supervises program counselors in activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, art, crafts and outdoor adventure

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology or Environmental Science and will have experience working with children from ages 4 years up to adult
• desire to work with both adults and children and show them the wonders of the Cayman Islands
• experience working at least one season in an Ambassadors of the Environment program
• experience with operational team leadership
• excellent presentation skills
• knowledge and comfort with computer software including Concierge Assistant, Opera, Micros and all Microsoft Office applications
• must be a strong swimmer and snorkeler, preferably with CPR/first aid and lifeguard skills
• ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekend and holidays
• able to energize the Ritz-Carlton culture and mission of Ambassadors of the Environment
• excellent English written and verbal communication skills
