Job Description:

As Analytics Lead for the Consumer Marketplace, you own data and analytics for our end-to-end C2C experience, from sign-up and account creation to listing, search, discovery, transactions and category performance. Your mission is to implement the Data & Analytics vision and roadmap for your domain, translating the needs of the business areas into clear priorities, robust metrics and data products that steer product and business decisions. By coaching analysts, planning capacity and channelling domain requirements, you deliver trusted insights that generate growth in a vibrant C2C business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate Consumer Marketplace strategy and business objectives into actionable analytics frameworks and measurable outcomes
  • Guide stakeholders in framing hypotheses, defining success criteria and shaping decision-ready insights across initiatives such as transactions, search and vibrancy
  • Lead the cross-domain definition and validation of KPIs, aligning Product, Tech, Business and Marketing to shared goals
  • Conduct strategic deep dives into priority topics such as customer journeys and marketplace health to influence product and business decisions
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior forums, including Business Area Leadership Round, with clarity and impact
  • Coach and develop a team of analysts, while shaping workflows that enable proactive monitoring, strong prioritisation and high-quality analytics delivery

Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker who turns numbers into narratives and meaningful business impact
  • 5+ years of experience leading analytics teams, developing talent, and scaling analysts through phases of growth, transformation and continuous improvement
  • Role model for transparent and proactive communication and collaborates effectively with both product and business stakeholders
  • Scaled analytics functions before and applies a strong data product mindset to ensure consistency, value creation and high-quality delivery
  • Excels at transforming data into actionable business outcomes and thrives in cross-functional environments
  • Experienced with modern data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker and knows how to turn complex data into clear, decision-ready insights
  • Combines strategic vision with hands-on analytical skills, using tools such as dbt, SQL, Python and GitHub as meaningful parts of workflow
