In short, as an Analyst II, Loss Mitigation, you will apply your analytical and strategic skills as you initiate, build, and develop the business case for major company initiatives. What’s great about loss mitigation is you will see immediate impacts to the company’s P&L from strategies that you develop and deploy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop strategies that recover money while doing so with empathy
  • Formulating, developing and instituting business strategies in loss mitigation, recoveries, repossession, and remarketing to reduce net losses
  • Partnering with product, tech, data science, and operation teams to implement data driven strategies and decision engines
  • Analyzing and developing the full life cycle of a project including implementation/execution
  • Driving large analytical initiatives to reveal step-change improvements in operational and transaction profitability of the business
  • Effectively communicate with concise insights and/or visualizations utilizing software such as Sigma while partnering collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders in the organization
  • Leveraging emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, and reporting
  • Design, develop, test, and implement new products and solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, statistics, engineering, computer information systems or other STEM field
  • 2+ years of experience in data, financial, and/or strategic analytics
  • Experience using analysis to create value-added strategies and make recommendations to the business to improve organizational performance
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Strong statistical skills and experience focused on business decision making and problem solving
  • Experience managing multiple project streams
  • Demonstrated skill in SQL/Snowflake and extensive experience developing analysis in Excel
