As the Analyst, Engineering Project Management, you will work directly with the Platform Manager to bring clarity, focus, and momentum to high-impact initiatives; you will act as a key deputy. Acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, you’ll help set priorities, structure key projects, and drive execution across leadership and Integrated Work Teams (IWTs). The Deputy ensures the platform delivers on its performance, schedule, financial and business commitments. Your role will enable leadership effectiveness, foster alignment, and scale the Platform Manager’s impact across the organization. This is an intermediate level position, suited for someone with solid aerospace experience who is developing into a Platform Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Work directly with the Platform Manager to bring clarity, focus, and momentum to high-impact initiatives
Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner
Help set priorities, structure key projects, and drive execution across leadership and Integrated Work Teams (IWTs)
Ensure the platform delivers on its performance, schedule, financial and business commitments
Enable leadership effectiveness, foster alignment, and scale the Platform Manager’s impact across the organization
Chair and/or act as a proxy for the Platform Manager in key governances like Change Boards, Executive Program Reviews, Advisory Boards, Mandate Reviews, CARB and other engagements
Manage Sales, Product Strategy, Supplier Management and Operations requests and escalations
Facilitate leadership meetings and ensure follow-through on action items
Ownership of the platform statement of work and adherence to budget parameters alongside portfolio priorities
Drive cross-functional, cross-commodity alignment and collaboration to unblock high-impact projects
Participate in the execution of more complex multi-commodity projects to ensure proper coordination amongst the stakeholders
Translate big-picture strategy into actionable priorities
Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights by developing health dashboards, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and interpreting results to support faster, informed decision‑making
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
At least 5 years of professional experience in aerospace interiors, cabin systems, program management, or engineering
Exposure to strategy and governance within a Program Office setting is an asset
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, project coordination, organizational, and follow-up skills
High emotional intelligence and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Exceptionally proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
Highly collaborative with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
Exceptional communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Experience with digital tools, highly competent in Excel with financial modelling experience alongside strong software proficiency (e.g. MS Office suite, TEAMS, Power BI, SAP, etc.)
Skilled at building clear, compelling slide presentations
Proven analytical and financial acumen with solid attention to detail
Able to work in both French and English on a daily basis
Able to work on site in Montreal at least two days per week
